I've heard people spend a great amount of energy trying to discourage me from taking risks: on my safety, health or friendships - but also on my professional, studying and personal choices.
Careful, it's risky!
The greatest risk of all is no risk at all - because you risk missing your life.
At age 25, you should have another 20'000 days in front of you. They count.

Wars are no longer fought on battlefields, and are no longer won with guns, tanks and missiles.
Platforms to greater choices are no more than platforms. Platforms erode, crumble, and disappear. If you're still standing on them, you go with them.
I've not expended much dissuasive energy. I've made my point. I hope I can be there to share every moment of your 20,000 days of joy with you. If any single one of them disappoints, then rethink, move on. You'll always be better than those around you - it's their loss.
