Everything was amazing at this edition of Download Festival at Donnington Park. The line-up, the crowd, the campsites... it was a crazy weekend. I have some insane movie clips of circles and mosh pits happening in big clouds of dust. We were all crying our eyes out - it felt like riding a rickshaw in Delhi at times. No idea what happened on Sunday night, I had already left - the "riots" don't fit with what I experienced of the crowd, which was very relaxed. Unlike V Festival and its rude, unfriendly middle class visitors.

I can hear it already, the bottles being placed in the fridge, the packs of food opened, the tape put in the music player, and as Russia enters the room through the voice of the Red Army choir, a friend no longer is a friend, but is now a brat - and it'll be a long, unforgettable night. Do vstrechi, druzia!
