Is he going to execute faithfully or faithfully execute the office of the President? And what was his middle name, didn't quite catch that? Our reaction as it happened.
The first one is a ride through Dahiya, a densely populated area of South Beirut. Our driver explains the significance of the black banners displayed over the street.
The second is a chat over tea in the mountains on the road to Beit ed-Dine. The driver explained later he was trying to reassure our host about her worries over pessimistic predictions she'd heard for the New Year.
